We, as a responsible massage parlour in Canberra, have recognized the health challenges faced by our clients. To extend our services beyond massage, we propose the implementation of a charitable initiative – Free Tai Chi Classes. This program aims to enhance the physical and mental well-being of our community members and address various health issues.
Our objectives
Provide free Tai Chi classes to individuals with health concerns.
Improve participants' physical fitness and overall well-being.
Foster a sense of community through shared wellness activities.
Project Details
Target Audience: Individuals experiencing physical discomfort or seeking holistic health improvement.
Duration: The program will run for 12 weeks, offering daily morning sessions.
Fee: The participation in the program is entirely without charge.
Location: The sessions will take place at three distinct locations: John Knight Memorial Park in Belconnen, Commonwealth Park in Civic, and Eddison Park in Woden.
Evaluation: Every Sunday, we will host a comprehensive and in-depth discussion on Tai Chi learning after the session. This part may encompass participants' perceptions and understanding of Tai Chi. Additionally, we will conduct an assessment of participants' personal physical and mental improvements. This forum aims to foster a deeper understanding of Tai Chi and encourage meaningful exchanges among participants, creating an enriching environment for collective learning and growth.
Daily Schedule
Time: Each session, spanning 1.5 hours, will consist of 1 hour dedicated to instruction and an additional half-hour for interactive communication, running from 7:30 am to 9:00 am each day weather permitting .
Activities: Tai Chi exercises, focusing on improving flexibility, balance, and overall physical health.
